For us, it involved over 350,000 users. HumanCap was entrusted with leading the change management (CM) for one of the largest Google Workspace (GWS) rollouts globally. Guiding this vast number of users through the GWS transition was a monumental task. As the CM lead, we collaborated closely with the technology provider and our client to ensure a seamless experience for users across more than 200 organisations nationwide. This journey wasn’t just about learning new technology; it was about transforming workplace culture, especially in how people communicate and collaborate.
The first hurdle was the enormous scale of the migration. With so many users to onboard, we needed a solid plan for a smooth process. The second challenge was overcoming users' hesitation due to their frustrations with previous changes. Many had faced difficulties that made them cautious about embracing yet another transition.
